On June 14, Whitefield firefighters responded to a two-car accident on US 29 N near the intersection of Cheddar Rd. Firefighters checked for hazards, assisted EMS with patient care, and provided traffic control while awaiting the arrival of law enforcement. One patient was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
