Smoke Detectors Available

Kidde, A UTC Fire and Security Company, recently donated 40 smoke detectors to the Whitefield Fire Department.

Any resident of the district in need of a free smoke detector may contact Anderson County Fire Dispatch at 864-222-3904 and ask for a Whitefield Fire Department representative to contact you, or email Chief Adam Cromer at acromer@whitefieldfd.com.  The fire department will then schedule an appointment to come out and properly install the smoke detector.

Each year, Kidde dontates more than 100,000 smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers to fire departments and nonprofit organizations across the country.
