On April 12, Whitefield firefighters were dispatched to a single car auto accident on US Highway 29 North near Sandy Lane. Upon arrival, a small pickup truck was observed down an embankment. Firefighters investigated for any hazards and provided traffic control while awaiting the SC Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.
