On September 4, Whitefield firefighters were dispatched to a traffic accident on US 29 N at Boggs Rd. An 18-wheeler and sedan were found to have been hit at the dispatched location, and firefighters located the vehicle that caused the accident nearly a half mile away. No injuries were reported in the accident. SCHP and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office assisted.
