On April 12, Whitefield firefighters were dispatched to a single car auto accident on US Highway 29 North near Sandy Lane. Upon arrival, a small pickup truck was observed down an embankment. Firefighters investigated for any hazards and provided traffic control while awaiting the SC Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.

On March 28, Whitefield, Cheddar and West Pelzer firefighters were dispatched to a residential structure fire on Willingham Road.
Responding units: Engine 22, Engine 12 and Engine 6.
On March 19, Whitefield firefighters responded to a single car vehicle accident with reported entrapment and car fire on Willingham Rd. Upon arrival, several firefighters moved quickly to extinguish the car fire while others began working to free a victim from the wreckage. LifeFlight helicopter was dispatched to the scene and a landing zone was secured by firefighters. Two patients were taken by ambulance and helicopter to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Williamston and Belton EMS assisted at the scene.

On March 17, Whitefield and Broadway firefighters responded to Stringer Rd for a residential structure fire. Fire was observed to be showing through the roof upon arrival, but a quick interior attack by fire personnel prevented the fire from consuming the structure. The home was vacant and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

On February 17, Whitefield and West Pelzer firefighters responded to a residential structure fire on Beaverdam Rd. Upon arrival, firefighters observed fire coming from a side gable of the home and were able to make an interior attack, confining the fire to the attic.

On January 30, Rescue 22 responded to Highway 29 North at Ballard Rd to assist West Pelzer firefighters with traffic control as they worked to free patients involved in an auto accident.
On January 25, Whitefield Engine 22 and Rescue 22 responded to Welcome Rd for a two-car auto accident. Firefighters arrived on scene to find one vehicle overturned blocking one lane of traffic. Personnel checked for hazards and provided traffic control until the accident was cleared.
On August 12, West Pelzer FD requested assistance with shuttling water to fight a house fire on Stewart St. The home, which was reported to have burned recently, was a total loss.
On February 5, Whitefield and Broadway fire departments responded to Brown Rd in Belton to a fire involving a fully involved vacant home. Firefighters had the blaze under control in less than 10 minutes. The cause of fire is under investigation.
On January 31, Whitefield firefighters responded to a single-car auto accident. Firefighters found the vehicle down an enbankment on McAlister Rd. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
